Please follow these TIPS When Submitting Tax Information
- No envelopes
- No sticky notes
- No staples
- Lay tax documents flat and paperclip relevant documents together
- Hand write notes in pencil on relevant document
1. Submit Tax Information
You do not need an appointment to drop off your tax information.

Use one of the following methods to submit your tax documents to Summer and Company:
- Drive-Through Drop Box (preferred method)
- Online using our Secure Portal. Email us at taxinfo@summerandcompanysc.com with the subject line “Client Portal.” We will send you an email invitation.
2. Processing Tax Return
Typically, it takes us 2 - 3 weeks to process a tax return. Times can be longer or shorter depending on the completeness information and the complexity of the return.
Please be sure to include the following:
- Voided check (we need a new one each year)
- Documentation that your children live with you (doctor's bill, letter from school, child's driver's license)
- Driver's license
3. Sign Your Return
We cannot file your tax return without a signature.
You can sign one of the following ways:
- In person
- Electronically
You can return your signature documents by mail (1508 Lindsay St, Newberry, SC 29108), by fax (803-276-9555), or by putting them in our drive-though drop box.
